Spaces + Places - The Gallery Event Space

And we're back! Whew! It has been quite a busy summer for us. Good news for our followers as we'll have a bunch of new posts to share with you all. We thought we would ease back into it with a review of a new venue on the Kansas City scene. Gracing the lively downtown Power & Light entertainment district is a new event space with the framework and amenities for a gorgeous wedding reception. Located on 14th Street, just above the Bristol Seafood Grill, The Gallery Event Space proves to be an excellent space with an elegant, urban vibe with a view of the Kansas City downtown skyline.

The spaces lends its self for a variety of custom seating options with large capacity. A sense of zen calmness approaches you as you enter the space.  You are greeted by clean white walls flanked with minimalist decor, light colored wood floors span the open space and an amazing light sculpture is featured centered between LED panels that allow for over 200 lighting options. Truly a space for the bride and groom wanting to be in the heart of the city with some style and grace.

• 9,000 square feet of open space that allows for a variety of seating set-ups and can accommodate 400 guests seated and 600 cocktail-style
• Sliding glass doors open for a balcony view of 14th Street and the downtown skyline
• In-House sound with projection screens and microphones and spectacular LED lighting system with more than 200 customized colors to set the mood
• Catering is offered through The Gallery chef and catering staff and can create endless options for your catering needs

Site Visit: Studio B

Cutting edge, artistic, urban and elegant all rolled into one... that is what you will find at Studio B on Main Street downtown in the heart of the Crossroads district. Holly and I met with Jodi a few weeks ago to see the space and her photography studio. This space is reasonable priced, unique and offers a wonderful location that will meet all your event needs. Jodi is also a celebrity make up artist as well as a fabulous photographer. Schedule a time to enjoy their special "Martinis & Make-Up" parties. So gather your girlfriends and give her a call and if you are looking for that unique space for an upcoming event like an engagement party, rehearsal dinner, wedding reception or even a fabulous birthday bash, check them out as well!!

Spaces + Places: HILTON Kansas City Airport

Are you having a wedding in the Northland? Do you have a large number of out of town guests coming to your special day? If so, you should take a look at the newly renovated Hilton Kansas City Airport for your ceremony, reception and guests needs. Holly and I met with Danica a few weeks ago and enjoyed a tour and lunch. The hotel offers a wonderful selection of ballrooms for ceremony and reception. The food was spectacular. It was not typical hotel food at all! The hotel truly is a full service hotel with lots to offer you and your guests during you special wedding weekend.
