Real Weddings: Andrea + Rodney

This week we are featuring the wedding of Andrea and Rodney as shot by VanDeusen Photography. The ceremony took place at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church and the pictures speak for themselves as to the grand beauty of the church. We love the sweet shot of the rosary tied around the bride's bouquet. The team at VanDeusen captured the bridal party in front of one of Kansas City's famed fountains on the Country Club Plaza. The water provides a fun element to the pictures echoing the energy and liveliness of the party. The reception took place in one of the Downtown Marriott's impressive ballrooms. The Marriott is perfect for large receptions while still maintaining an intimate atmosphere with elements like candlelight and draping fabric.
